Recreation: Parks and Holiday House Pool




Holiday House Pool is now taking applications for the 2015 season! Daily rates are rising in 2015 to $10 for a full day and $6 after 5:00 p.m. The daily rates apply to anyone entering the Holiday House facility swimmers and non-swimmers alike. Swim lesson sign ups are now underway and can be done in person at Sellersville Borough Hall, Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Spaces are limited, so the earlier you sign-up, the better the chances of getting your preferred time spot.

Holiday House Pool is accepting applications for life guards and concession stand employees. An application can be downloaded by clicking on  Holiday House Employment Application. Please indicate on the form the position for which you are applying.

Pennsylvania now requires anyone over the age of 14 who works with or around children under the age of 18 to be cleared by the PA Department of Human Services, PA State Police and the FBI. . The form for requesting Pa State Police clearance can be downloaded by clicking on State Police Criminal History Clearance Form and for the PA State Department of Human Services at PA Child Abuse History Clearance form.

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is utilizing Cogent Systems to process fingerprint-based FBI criminal background checks. The fingerprint based background check is a multiple step process. Clearances are valid for three years. There are filing costs involved with obtaining these clearances which are the responsibility of the applicant. New applicants who have already obtained these clearances must provide valid proof of such.

As the process takes time, we are requiring a statement titled Holiday House Application for Provisional Employment -CPSL from applicants affirming that they have begun the application process.

Lake Lenape Park
Walnut Street

Lake Lenape park offers a macadam bicycle/walking path, small play area, comfort stations, one regulation ballfield and three smaller fields. The park also features a 9 hole disc golf course.  At the North Main Street side there is a Veterans Monument honoring those citizens who have served our country. Also located within the premises is a community building which is used by various civic groups throughout the year.

The playground has a full range of recreation facilities, featuring three macadam tennis courts; various wooden and metal play structures; three regulation softball fields, lighted for nighttime use; restroom facilities; pavilion which includes tables and benches.
