Residential Rental Unit Licensing & Inspection

Sellersville Borough Council passed Ordinance 728 on August 19, 2019, that requires the licensing and inspection of certain residential rental units. Residential rental property owners must apply for a license by December 31, 2019 to: Sellersville Code Enforcement Officer, 140 Church Street, Sellersville, PA 18960. Inspections will take place in the year 2020 by Barry Isett & Associates.

The fee schedule has been established by Resolution #19-10 and can be viewed at Resolution 19-10 Establishing Rental Property Fee Schedule

The Rental Property License Fee is $80/unit which is paid with the Application form. A copy of the lease agreement is required to be submitted with the application. The License is good for three (3) years from the date of issuance or the sale or transfer of the residential rental unit. If a re-inspection is required following a Notice of Violation or following a Residential License Revocation, there will be a $50/unit fee for  the re-inspection. Appeals of the Code Enforcement Decision to Borough Council is $500.
